About

I am an artist and teacher who studied at Stanford University 1973-75, Rhode Island School of Design BFA 1977, and Yale University MFA 1981. I lived in NYC from 1985-1996 before moving to Woodstock, NY. I have been teaching at Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, CT since 1998; was married in 1999, and my wife and I had two daughters. We lived in Farmington until the summer of 2020 when we moved to Plainville, CT. I was a member of Bowery Gallery at 530 West 25th Street, New York, NY 10001 for eleven  years and had three one-person shows there. Bowery Gallery is now at 547 West 27th street and I am an associate member there.

Have a look here for an archive of my paintings, drawings, and prints.

And some of my music can be heard here.
